A monthly crafting and homemaking publication that ran from October 1935 to 1996. It started as an 8-page needlework service bulletin created by John and Clara Tillotson in Kansas City, distributed via mail under "Aunt Ellen's Needlework Club". At its height, the digest-sized magazine reached over two million readers.
Needlecrafts: Focused heavily on crochet, knitting, tatting, embroidery, and quilting patterns.
Homemaking: Included regular columns on cooking, canning, recipes, and indoor gardening.
