We began hosting Yarn Camps in February of 2009. Everyone had so much fun, we now host 4 camps each year in Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall, check our Annual Events page for dates! Our events are currently being held at Jubilee House and Retreat Center in Abingdon, Virginia, just a short drive from A Likely Yarn.

Each camp begins on a Friday at 10am and ends on a Sunday at 2pm. There is an optional extra day on Thursday, if you'd like to come early to get settled. Some Campers stay for the whole weekend, some sign up as Day Campers, you choose. The FULL Camp experience consists of 2 nights lodging, 2 brunches, Friday Night Fashion Show, and one (optional) organized activity with loads of fun with fiber friends in between! Everyone brings snacks to share and we have a massage therapist on site!

When you check in at Camp, you will receive a Welcome Packet detailing your stay and a name tag! EVERY registered camper will receive 10% off any purchases made at A Likely Yarn during Yarn Camp weekend! For those who have attended in the past, we are no longer drawing for poker chips. We have daily drawings for door prizes and way too much FUN!  Grab a friend and join us!  Registration available one month prior to camp.
